遥かなるロシア ”サーロ(Сало)

ロシア料理はとても栄養満点で手が込んでいておいしいのですけれど，チョットこれは。。。とためらうものもありますね。

手持ちぶたさのある雨の日、ロシア料理のサイトを探っていたら、ありました！思い出しました。　”サーロ(Сало)。”　

豚の脂身の塩漬けで、脂身のかたまりそのままでした。これはもともとはウクライナの料理で、ウォッカのおつまみなのだそうです。白身だけのベーコンと同じでしょうかね。

ロストフ　ナ　ダヌーの若者達の家で、屈強な青年がこの小さな一切れを手にして、てんこもりの米をたべていたました。「食べてみる？」と言われて、話の種にとほんの少し齧って諦めました。

食糧難の時期ロシア農民たちにとって、ウォッカのおつまみとしてだけではなく、主食の塩味のおかずとして重宝だったのでしょうか。

日本でもそのような時がありましね。

梅干し弁当とか、日の丸弁当とか呼ばれていた昔のお話でした。其々の国が食うや食わずな時を過ごして来たものですし、今もなおであるのが辛いですね。
　




Russian cuisine is very nutritious and has a lot of work and it is delicious, but this is. . . There are things hesitant.
One boring rainy day I was looking for a Russian cuisine site, there was!
"Sirlo (Сало)." It is salted of pig fat.  this is the original of Ukraine and may be a snack of alcohol.
A house of young people in Rostov Na Danu where we were living.  One strong young man had eaten big cupful rice with  small piece of Sirlo. He asked me "Do you want to eat?" I tried small peace and gave up .
During the time of food shortage in Russia Sirlo was  must be useful as a side dish for Russian farmers. We had a Hinomaru Bento  in Japan also.
Each country has history that had a hard time. Even now this is sad.

遥かなるロシア ロシア語を話す人々

ロシア語が世界でどれだけ通じるかと言うお話です。

とても難しい言語の様に思われますけれど、意外にもロシア語は世界で最も話されている言語のひとつであるということで、ヨーロッパではロシア語を母国語とする人がもっとも多いのだそうです。第二言語として話す人を含めれば世界で4番目に話されている言葉なのです。

それというのもソ連時代領土を拡張し，周辺諸国は元より世界に共産主義を輸出させロシア語を強要したので当然と言えば当然ですね。

ソ連崩壊後、とくにバルト3国やウクライナ、グルジアでは忌まわしいロシア語は終わりにしましょうよと、ロシア語教育は終わりにして自国の言葉に元帰り、ロシア語を知っていても話したく無い。むしろ英語とかドイツ語が人気のようです。

それでも私たちがロシアビザの延長のために周辺国に行ったその昔、我が小さな息子娘達がお巡りさんにロシア語で道を聞いたりしたら、嫌な顔もせず親切に教えてくれましたよ。

同じくソ連連邦下にあったベラルーシやカザフスタン・キルギス・ウズベキスタン・トルクメニスタンなど一つの国の中に様々な民族が共存する中央アジアでは、ロシア語が民族をこえた共通言語として使われているということです。

それはロシア国内でも同じことで、人種の坩堝であるロシアにはコーカサスからの人々、中央アジアからの人々、シベリヤのヤクート民族etc.etc. 自分の言葉とロシア語の両方を話すのは日常のことです。

言語においてはアメリカと同じですね。民族の往来が活発であるということでしょうね。

It seems like a very difficult language to learn, but unexpectedly Russian is one of the world's most spoken languages, and in Europe seems the most Russian native speakers. If you include a person who speaks as a second language, it is the fourth most spoken language in the world.
Because it expanded the territory of the Soviet era to surrounding countries and forced to speak Russian.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, especially in the Baltic States, Ukraine and Georgia, Russian language education was over,  teaching  to their own words. they do not want to talk about Russian even  they know Russian. Rather learn English and German seem to be popular.
When we went to neighboring countries to extend the Russian visa my little son and daughter asked  direction to the policeman by the Russian, they told us kindly with Russian.
In Central Asia where various ethnic groups coexist in a country like Belarus which was also in the Federal Republic of the Soviet Union, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan  where  used as a common language over ethnic groups .
It is the same in Russia as well,　people from Caucasus,  Yakut Siberia etc etc. it is common to speak both their own language and Russian in daily life.
In the language it is the same as America.　It will be  the active country.

遥かなるロシア ロシアのケーキ

イースターのご挨拶をと思いつつ、その日は特急で過ぎてしまいました。

ロシア正教のイースターは、西方教会のイースターの7日後の4月8日でした。

4月6日が我が夫の誕生日だったので、時には一味異なるロシアのケーキで祝おうと近所のロシアのお店に行った折、ドーム型の大小のイースターブレットを目にして、これも欲しいとも思ったのでしたけれど、その日はケーキに重きをおくことにしました。

ロシアのケーキはアメリカ産のスポンジケーキとは異なって、濃くのある味と重厚な満腹感がロシア的ですね。

ロシアで同居していた若い娘たちはスポンジの間に、練乳やバタークリームやカスタードクリームなどを何層にも重ねていましたね。高カロリーであること間違い無さそうでしたよ。

「余り重ねてあるのは腹一杯になりすぎるから程々で良い」と息子が言って、三層重ねくらいのケーキにしましたけれど、それでも腹一杯になりましたよ。




Thinking about Easter greetings, that day goes by a so fast so I lost chance to say Happy Easter.
Easter of Russian Orthodox was April 8th after seven days of Easter in Western Church.
As my husband 's birthday was April 6. Sometime we like to have Russian cake for birthday. So we went to a nearby Russian shop. I saw the large and small dome shaped Russian Easter bread.
The Russian cake is very substantial and rich, different from American sponge cake.
Young girls who were living together in Russia had plenty of ingredients such as condensed milk, butter cream and custard cream between sponges made many layers.  No doubt It was high calorie.
My son said, "We do not need  too much overlapping cake because it is heavy for stomach." We got  a cake of three layers, but still it was rich.

遥かなるロシア プーチン大統領再登板

プーチン大統領の再登板となりましたね。

何かと何かといつもいつもロシア大統領選は世界の話題となりまして、我々の基準からはほど遠く失格選挙と言えますけれど，選挙の無い国よりはいいじゃないかとしたところに落ち着きますか。

帝政ロシアから共産ソ連へと移行して、国家としては一度も民主主義を経験したことのない国ですから、それでも一応は選挙をするというし、国民との直接対話のプーチンホットラインもあるしね。

そうでしたね。その歴史に民主主義を経験したことの無い国でしたね。

ソ連崩壊からそれほど遠く無い時代、新生ロシアに渡るべく夫とともに在米ロシア大使館にヴィザの申請に行った時のこと、その時の会話の経緯は忘れましたけれど、ロシアの若い見栄えの善い係官が何やら説明してくれて最後に笑顔で、「これが民主主義というものだろう？」と何やら得意気に言いましたね。その内容は忘れてしまいましたけれど、私たちにとっては至極当たり前のことで「そうだよ」と答えながら、”ああこの人たちは民主主義が何のことか、これから経験していく人達なのだ”　と思ったものでした。

それはかなり昔のことでしたけれど、未だロシアはロシア歴史において未踏の時をいっているのですね。

エリツィン氏時代のように西側営利団体の餌食にならないように、輝くロシアを築いてほしいです。



President Putin has re-elected.
Russian presidential election has become a topic of the world  that  a disqualified election far from our standard, but  better than a country without elections.
Since it has been a transition from Empire Russia to the Communist Soviet Union, it is a country that has never experienced democracy. But there is a election is doing also "Putin Hot line" for direct  connection with the people. Anyway something is trying.
It is a country that has never experienced democracy.
It was a long time ago, not so far away after Soviet Union corrupted my husband and I needed to visit Russia. So we went to the Russian Embassy in the US to get visa.   I forgot the background of the conversation with a nice looking yang Russian officer who   explaining about paper work for us and the end he told us with smile proudly  "I explained you about how to get visa. This is democracy . Isn't it?" I forgot the content, but for us it was quite common . "That's right" we answered for him. "Oh, they are going to experience what democracy is. " we thought.
That was quite a long time ago, but Russia is still on the way  going to unexplored history.
I would like  to Russian people to build shining Russia.

遥かなるロシア １００年前の写真

上の写真はロシア帝国時代の一般人を写した写真なのだそうです。
ロシア帝国時代なので1917年以前の写真ですね。

特にここに取り上げたのは、この少年二人が私の知り合いのロシア家庭の息子達に瓜二つなのです。そっくりですよ。

路上で何かを売っている二人の少年の日常的な表情、左の男の子の流し目や右の男の子の横顔が１００年後の今蘇って、私の身近にこの二人が生活しているような何とも不思議な気持ちになります。この子たちタイムマシーンで現代に戻って来たのでしょうかね。

この少年達が１００年以上前にロシアのどの地で生活していたのかは分かりませんけれど，程なく勃発したロシア革命に巻き込まれてしまった二人なのでしょうか。どのような人生を送ったのでしょうね。幸福な人生を送れたのなら良いのですけれどもね。

The two boys in this picture look exactly like my friends' boys.

This vivid expression, the eye of the boy on the left and the profile of the boy on the right now they were revive after 100 years and it seems as if they live close to my. I wonder if these children got back to the present with a time machine.

I do not know where the boys lived in Russia more than 100 years ago, I wonder they had involved in the Russian revolution that broke out in this time period? What kind of life did they have? I wish it was a happy life that they had.

遥かなるロシア 金と銀 おめでとうロシア

ロシアの女子フィギア　スケーターの層は厚いですね。

ソチオリンピックでは史上最年少と言われたリプニッカヤが一躍スターの座に付いたかと思えば、4年後には又15歳のザギトワという史最最高の点数を叩き出す美女が現れるのですから。

彼女らは高度なテクニックを駆使していながら、そのパーフォーマスは危なげがないですね。見る人をしてハラハラさせることのない自信を持って、どこであったとしても我が家のスケートリンクのように場をこなし、力強く優雅に美しく、見るものを魅了してくれます。

これというのも、ロシアの誇る広く深い伝統的古典芸術の結晶と言うべきなのですね。

そして皆様美人ですね。なぜこうも美女ぞろいかと思うのですけれど，平均的ロシア女性は美女ですね。ごく普通に見える身じかの女性が毛皮の帽子を被っただけで、アンナカレーニナの主人公のように変身したのに驚いたこともありました。

ちょっとメイキャップを施せば、道を歩くそこそこのロシア女性はすべて絶世の美女となりえますよ。花咲く時期が短いとしたとしても美しい事は良いことですね。

In Sochi, Lipnickaia who was the youngest ever in history, won the star seat, after four years a beautiful woman will beat out the highest score of the 15-year-old Zagitowa.
Although their advanced techniques, their performance has perfect with their confidence wherever they are the skating rink of own house, it is powerfully elegantly beautiful and attracts what we see.
It should be great result of  traditional classic of art.
I wonder why all skaters are so beautiful , but remained me the average of Russian woman is  beautiful . Sometimes I was surprised that a woman who looks like a normal but once woman had a fur hat who transformed she looks like the heroin of Anna Karenina.
Even if it is said that the period of flowering is short but beauty is a good.
