遥かなるロシア 隣の国リトアニア

リトアニアがロシアに接しているのは、
ロシアの飛び地カリニングラードに
隣り合っているだけで、ロシア本土と接
しているわけではありませんので、
列車でロシア本土｛母なるロシア｝から
カリニングラードに行くには、ベラルーシ
やリトアニアを通していただかなければ
なりません。

ロシアに出入りする時も、アメリカに出入 りする時も私たち家族は 何かとヴィザや住民登録の些細な事に引っかかり、いやな思いをしました。

時としてはリトアニアで一ヶ月以上も、書類が整備されるのを待たなければなりませんでした。

リトアニアのイミグレーションのオフィサーもポリスも、ロシアの彼らとは随分と雰囲気が違い私たちを安心させてくれました。

子供たちがロシア語でポリスに道を尋ねたりすると、とても親切に丁寧に応対してくれました。

彼らにとってかって占領された国の言語をつかうのは、愉快ではないにちがいないと私なぞは思ってしまいます。

第二次大戦下この国はソヴィエトロシアとナチドイツの戦場になり、リトアニアのホロスコーストと呼ばれる忌まわしい出来事がありました。

ソヴィエトロシアとナチドイツに介入された場は、正に逃げ場のない最悪の時代を経ければならなかったのが痛みです。

この時のリトアニア領事館代理であった杉原千畝は、ナチス　ドイツの迫害によりポーランドをはじめとした欧州各地から逃れてきた、多くはユダヤ系難民たちの窮状に同情し、外務省からの訓命に反して、大量のヴィザを発給し、およそ6,000人にのぼる避難民を救ったことで知られています。

この６０００人へに登るヴィザを、氏は不眠不休という状態で手で書いたそうです。

その働きと言うのは、並大抵の仕事ではなかったそうです。

その艱難な時も過ぎ、今は平和に見える国であるけれど、まだまだネオナチの活動はやまず外国人を排斥する不気味な強い力があります。

特に東洋人は外国人であると一見してすぐ分かるので、ターゲットにされ危険な目にあった人が私たちの身の回りにもいました。

特別に何処の国が排他的というより、人間の心に巣くう他を虐めたい思いが不気味です。

Lithuania is not neighboring country with mainland Russia, but only with Russian enclave of Kaliningrad.　By train from mainland Russia  to go to Kaliningrad, we must go through Belarus and Lithuania.   In the immigration of the border was very nervous to us. They questioned the issue of visas do not do anything.  So, sometime We needed to stay in Lithuania for more than a month  until the complete document

 Police and immigration officers in Lithuania their  atmosphere  gave us peace, it was much difference from Russian.
 If  my  children asked by Russian the way to police who answering politely and very kindly.
 I will think they must  not pleasant someone using language was occupied used be.

In Second World War, This country was suffer because of Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia there was a painful experience, called Horosu coast of Lithuania. Wherever became a battlefield of Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany had a disastrous experience., people were so suffer, they had no place to  escape,  worst and pain exactly.
Chiune Sugihara was a representative Japanese consulate Lithuania at this time, who had sympathy to Jewish refugees  from all over Europe, many from  Poland by the persecution of Nazi Germany. Sugihara issued visa to refugees to against Japanese Foreign Affairs. He saved up 6000 people.
He wrote big number of visa by hand  that without sleep and rest.That work  was not a easy task.
Now country is peace, but a strong force to against foreigner neo-Nazi activities  is still existing.
 Asians are easy  to recognize for them to the target giving violence. we know,  Asian people around us who were in danger.

 I think rather than exclusive of countries where specially want to bully the other rooted in the human mind is eerie.
