遥かなるロシア 白樺は野に立てり Во поле берёза стояла その２

『白樺は野に立てり Во поле берёза стояла』は、18世紀頃から確認されている古いロシア民謡で、様々な歌詞で歌われているそうです。

チャイコフスキーが1876年頃に作曲した『交響曲第4番ヘ短調』（作品36）では、第4楽章に『白樺は野に立てり』のメロディが使われており、チャイコフスキーと親交のあったロシアの作曲家ミリイ・バラキレフは、『3つのロシアの主題による序曲第1番』第2楽章において、『白樺は野に立てり』の旋律を用いているそうですので、私も鑑賞することにいたしましょう。

こうした大自然と動物と音楽のお話は、とても心を和ましてくれますね。

心地よいことこの上もありません。


“The white birch stands in the field Во поле бер аа стояла” is an old Russian folk song that has been confirmed since around the 18th century and seems to be sung with various lyrics.

In "Symphony No. 4 in F minor," composed by Tchaikovsky around 1876 (op. 36), the melody of "The white birch stands in the field" is used in the 4th movement also Milii Balakirev is using the melody of “The white birch is standing in the field” in the “3rd Overture on Russian Themes 1st” 2nd movement, so let me listen to the music.

These stories of nature, animals and musics are relieved our heart.

遙かなるロシア バルチック艦隊敗北の日「Цусимское сражение」

　　 5月27日はアメリカにおいてはメモリアルデー。

ロシアにおいてはバルチック艦隊敗北の日。
日本においては日本海海戦勝利の日となりますね。
１９０５年5月27日から5月28日の出来事でした。
思い出す人さえもあまりいそうもない、１１４年前のお話です。
私の小さい頃は、明治生まれのお婆ちゃんたちがいて物語ってくれたものです。
メモリアルデーに寄せて思い出したお話です。

In Russia, the day of defeat of the Baltic fleet.
In Japan, the day of victory of the Japan Sea Battle.
It was war in May 27th to May 28th, 1905.
It is a story of 114 years ago.
When I was a child, there were grandmothers who were born in Meiji era and told me a story.
A story remained me in Memorial Day.

遙かなるロシア Тополь (Toepoli)の綿毛が舞う頃

5月も末のシアトル。

我が敷地ににポプラの綿毛が舞い始める頃は、ロシアの春の風物詩トーポリの綿毛の大吹雪を思い出す時です。

5年ほど前、モスクワ市では邪魔くさい綿毛の乱舞にさよならしたいと、10年計画で林檎とサクランボに植え変える話がありましたけれど、その後どうなったのでしょうね。

計画が進んでいそうに思えないのも、アメリカによる対露経済制裁で四苦八苦しているのではないかと、そこまで手もお金も回らないのではないかと思われるからです。

ここに載せる写真も、5月の綿毛の吹雪の如く美しい詩的な一枚をと探したのですけれど、ロシアはやはり、具体的な生活の中でのこのタッキーなアパートのタッキーな庭に積もる、垢抜けない雰囲気の春の雪景色がよく似合いそうです。

When poplar cotton starts to dance on our site, it is time to remember the Russian blizzard of the Тополь (Toepoli)
About five years ago, there was a talk about changing plantings on apples and cherries in a 10-year plan to say good-bye to disturbing toepoli cotton  in Moscow, but what happened then?
The reason why the plan does not seem to go forward  because  may be hard to get around with the US economic sanctions against Russia,  it  seems problem of money  so far.
I was searched for a beautiful poetic picture like the cotton snowstorm in May, but Russia still piles up in the tacky garden of this tacky apartment in concrete life , Spring snow scene of atmosphere that  match well.

　　　　　　　２０１９年大祖国戦争戦勝記念日

ロシアの5月は、一昔前は全世界を震撼させ、今ではごく穏やかなメーデーの軍事パレードに始まって、となるのですが，今年のメーデーは全土で労働者の権利などを訴える集会やデモ行進が行われ、サンクトペテルブルクではデモ行進に参加していた活動家や市民ら69人が治安当局に拘束されるなど、全土で計126人が拘束されたメーデーであったそうです。

5月9日は第2時大戦後、今も昔も変わりなく盛大に祝われる大祖国戦争・戦勝記念日で、もっとも尊ばれる祝日ですね。幸いにして、この日の式次第は穏やかに行われた模様です。

相変わらずの物々しい戦車のオンパレードですけれども…

ロシアの母の日は我らが祝う5月の第２日曜日ではなく、 11月26日が母の日　”День матери”　として祝われています。

こうしてロシアも短い春から、短い夏を迎えようとしています。

Russia's May had begin shaken the whole world when was a long time ago.  Now it is a very quiet May Day military parade, but this year's May Day was  appeals to workers' rights all over the country. In St. Petersburg, there were 69 activists and citizens who participated in the demonstration march, and  126 people were detained all over the country such as being detained by security authorities.

May 9 was the Grand Patriotic War Victory Day, which is celebrated  after the Second World War, and it is the most respected holiday. Fortunately, it seems to have been held gently  on the ceremony of this day.

Russian Mother's Day is not the second Sunday of May when we celebrate, but November 26 is celebrated as Mother's Day ”День  матери”.

イースターは全生命の復活を祝う時です。

それは太陽系の全天体が一丸となって、地上世界が悲劇と苦痛と災厄から復活して、より意義ある人生、真実の生き方に目覚めるようにと祈る、その祈りのシンボルなのです。

遙かなるロシア ロシアの起源

”「ロシア」の語源は何か？この問題は、一見そう思われるよりも難しい…。」”

この様な事が言われているのですね。

確かに、私がロシアの先祖達を辿るとき、語源同様何かと袋小路に突き当たるのです。

”　我々ロシア人も、「ロシア」という国名の語源について考えることは滅多にない。ほとんどすべての国の名前は、「何か」あるいは「誰か」にさかのぼるが、その語源はしばしば、忘却の淵に沈んで久しい。”

なるほど、ロシア人でもそうなのですか。

ロシア人の知人に「貴方の出自はどこ」「どこそこの民が先祖にいるようだけれど，詳しくは知らないねー」

とか言ったりするので私も、深くは詮索したことはありません。

接尾辞「Russ-ia」"ia" は国を意味するのだそうです。「Rusの国」というわけですね。ところが今に至るまで、"Russ"　が何を意味したのか誰もはっきり知らないのだそうです。

諸説は諸々にあるそうで、歴史学者はこう言い言語学者はああ言い、其々に誰をも満足させる説得力はないのだそうです。

面倒なことは詮索せず，かの寒くて果てしなく広大なスカンジナビア半島から、シベリヤに至る大地を往来した人々が先祖であり、語源であることは確かですよね。

"What is the origin of the word "Russia"? This problem is more difficult than at first glance ...."

There was such a sentence.

Certainly, when I trace Russian ancestors, I hit a dead end to something.

"We Russians rarely think about the source of the country name "Russia". The name of almost every country dates back to "something" or "who", but its origin is often sunk in oblivion."

Well, is that so even Russians?

According to my  Russian friend, "Who is your ancestors?" " I do not know in detail"

So I have never peeped deeply.

The suffix "Russ-ia" "ia" seems to mean a country. That's "the country of Rus". But until now, no one knows exactly what "Russ" meant.

It says that there are various theories, and historians say that the linguists say this, and there is no persuasiveness to satisfy everyone.

It's true that people who went around from the Scandinavian peninsula to the Siberia,  endless and cold continent belong to them.
