遥かなるロシア 隣車線の運転手は ”バブシカ” бабушка

心地よい初秋のシアトル。 

息子と買い物に出かけて、信号待ちをしていると隣の車線に入ってきたのは正に典型的　ロシアン　”バブシカ”（お婆ちゃん）「間違いない」と息子と確認のホクソエミ。 

先ずは　”頭巾”　そして運転しながらセレホンで喋っている甲高い言語は、車の窓越しではっきりはしないながらもロシア語風。「ロシアのお婆ちゃんて必ずあんな風に頭巾被っていたよね」「懐かしいね」。

運転バブシカは、こんな感じで手ぬぐいを被っていましたね。（上図）
農業をするときこの様に被るようでしたけれど、

普通はこんな感じでしたよ。（下図）

それにしてもアメリカで、手ぬぐい被って運転している　”バブシカ”　を見たのは初めてで、私も息子もエキサイトして「よう！バブシカ」なんて声をかけたくなりました。

 One Pleasant early autumn day of Seattle.
On the way to shopping with  son. We were waiting in traffic light. Here comes one car right nest lane to us. We found typical " Russian бабушка(grandma) " "no doubt" exactly son and I confirmed.
Look "wearing hood(scarf or hand towel)" and using cell hon sound like Russian.
"We know grandma in Russia it was popular using that kind of scarf wasn't it?"
"exactly"　”such a nostalgic!"
This was first time in US we met  " Russian grandma (бабушка)" driving with Russian towel on the head. Almost we wanted say "cool" to her.
