遥かなるロシア オリンピック

我が家でも連日繰り広げられる競技に、熱心に見入っています。
「ロシア人は雪と氷に慣れているからね」
親父さんがフッと言いました。
「そうだね。我々もロシアの冬は雪と氷の中で暮らしていたね。よく滑って転んだものよ。」

どれほど雪が積もっても、地方都市では除雪車なんて来ないし、塩みたいなものも撒かないし、昔々から生活してきたそのまま、人々は雪道を確りと雪を踏みしめながら、ゆっくりと歩きます。
毛皮のコートを着込んだ体格の良いおば様方は、鷹揚な貴婦人の様な歩き姿でした。

市内を流れる小川でない、川が氷ればリノック（マーケット）への近道になるので、氷結した中級の河をゆっくり歩いて老いも若きも、子供も犬も渡っていきます。
さすが私はこのまねはできませんでしたね。

氷や雪の中で生き生きと活躍するロシアの選手を見ながら、転んで痛かった時を思い出しました。

It is not a creek that flows through the city ,when it frozen became the short cut  to  market  , young and old to walk slowly across the river  .  I could not make  this. watching the players of Russia who are active and lively in the snow and ice, and I remembered when I was in Russia fell down in snow and ice it was hearted.
