遥かなるロシア 花の命は短くて

”花の命は短くて苦しきことのみ多かりき”

この詩が、ロシアの若く美しい女子フィギアスケーターに相応しいと私には思えます。

１５歳前後の大輪のお花が次から次へと現れ、各種グランプリ、オリンピックを制覇し持てはやされたのもつかの間、少し太りすぎたとか，身長が伸びすぎたとかの理由で人知れず　”さよなら”　をしていきます。

消耗品と言うのはやめておきますけれど、ロシアのこうした世界に生きた女の子達の宿命と言いましょうか。

そのつかの間の美に最善を尽くしたと言えることでしょう。

危うく毛皮を剥ぎ取られる寸前に救われたそうですよ。

Yes, we finally get the first snow of the season. My adorable foxes, Vasilisa and Alfie, enjoy playing together. They're so nice and happy! They do love snow so much! These foxes were rescued from a fur farm. They won't survive in the wild.
